Yes We Did

I just wrote a long post about Inauguration Day but read it back to myself and realized that I'm far too tired to do any justice to the joy I felt today. I'm elated. Simple as that. What an amazing experience to share with Ethan. Yes, I made him watch...well, sort of. I wanted to be able to tell him he witnessed this huge step foward. I cried many tears today, all tears of joy. And now I'm just exhausted, I guess.

So just know that I am enormously happy, and please enjoy some pictures from New Years Eve, New Years Day (aka Meuer Christmas), sledding around town, and our trip to the lake house this past weekend.

Yummmmmm....Wildfire House Salad Imitation

Will caught this one.

After our date to the play, Don't Dress for Dinner. Hilarious.

We found a great sledding hill in Burr Ridge.
Poor Ethan looks like he can hardly see a thing.

But he sure did like it!

Will's mask fits perfectly.

Almost ready.

Finally.

Ethan is in the sled Will's grandfather (Grandpa Lester Meuer) made for Will.

I love this picture.
